Jake Hanson, 39

Problem:

Problem: 65 years old. lifetime of traveling sales, poor eating, sleeping, and lack of strength training, only cardio. Wants to age gracefully and not be limited to activities such as playing with his grandkids.

Solution: When I first started training Tom, I focused on strength training with more lower and upper back stretches and exercises, to stretch and strengthen the core. This is critical throughout life as we use our core for stability. Also, I knew I had to help him really focus on his nutrition to shed the excess fat.  I educated him on good foods to help him achieve his goals and increase water intake to reduce joint pain and any cramping.

Results: Tom started at 175lbs with 30% body fat and is now at his goal weight of 165lbs and reduced overall body fat to 20%! Fanstatic for his age! He achieved “Maintenance mode”! Now he can enjoy life much more now and can play with his grandkids. He did it by slowly changing his body composition through weight training, becoming weak to strong and he also mentioned how much more alert he is compared to before.


Matt, 43

Problem:  38 years old, overweight (215lbs at 5’11”), over worked and over stressed. Matt needed to get in shape for a movie he was involved with and was going to train at a well known MMA camp in New Mexico. He wanted to be sure he was in good shape.

Solution:  I gave Matt a simple nutrition habits to follow, that would give him energy and allow for muscle growth and fat loss. Cardio program that consisted of HIIT training. As well as a strength training program that focused on compound muscle building exercises such as squats, bench press, deadlifts.    

Results:  Weight decreased to 185lbs and muscle increased. Much of that stress decreased drastically due to the mental benefits of a good nutrition and exercise.
